We are an agency, not a surety company. Surety companies issue the bonds. We work with the paperwork, the requirement, and the surety markets to match you with the right bond.
We start with the paperwork. Send us the bond form, letter, contract, bid package, or court order, and we’ll check the bond name, amount, obligee, form, and any underwriting requirements before you buy.
We work on four kinds of bonds:
Bonds required by a state, county, city, or board to get or keep a license or permit.
Business bonds such as customs, utility deposit, and self-insured workers’ compensation bonds, plus fidelity products.
Bid, performance, payment, and other contract bonds for contractors.
Probate, fiduciary, appeal, injunction, and other court-required bonds.
The Bond Agent is licensed to write surety bonds in Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York. Bond requirements are different in every state and local jurisdiction, so we check the actual requirement for each bond.
